Sociology students, faculty and postdoctoral fellows in Rice University’s School of Social Sciences don’t just study the challenges facing our world today, they rise to them. Committed to the transformative power of sociological imagination and one another, the department disrupts old assumptions and finds new solutions to complex questions to improve lives.
